Hello hello, my name is Mary and I just moved to Chicago last year from Atlanta, Georgia! I’ve never been in a pageant before and I’m so excited to be here for a good time and hope you all can enjoy my journey along with me! I want to use this opportunity to be a role model for younger girls, especially those who might not have a lot of Asian influences around growing up like me who grew up in a mostly non-Asian community. To me, happiness is the most important value and through this pageant, I hope to be able to help create happiness and be happy myself! Some fun facts about me are that I was a movie extra in the Netflix movie, “Holidate,” and that I cannot roll my Rs. I’m also a huge lover of pets especially cats and a fan of talking during movies (I have a lot of side commentary). Thanks for getting to know me and hope you enjoy the pageant!
